Game 3 - The final game of the first and we were half way through the weekend. Yet again LV were the home team and they were playing the green and gold Sunraysia. Players took advantage of errors from the 2nd innings with wild throws and fielding errors from the Sunraysia players, stealing bases and scoring needed runs. Multiple Latrobe players also stole more than one base in one play. Tom Nicholas started the pitching before Sam Jessop coming in, then Olivia Hector to finish off the pitching for Latrobe Valley. Will Anthony was the highlight in this game hitting a Home Run to left field.
Final Score 8 - 14

Day 2:
Time for the journey back home, but first it was back to the baseball diamond to play some more baseball.
Game 4 - Latrobe Valley took on City West. After plenty of rest, well the kids who got sleep.... Latrobe Valley took to the field at the start of the game, Addison Bishor-worn from City West hit a fly off his first pitch to Anthony Smith. Once against Latrobe Valley saw the errors within the ball game and took advantage for the LV team, Felicity Clissold scoring from an error to 3rd baseman who was put in to play by Charlie Carew. Felicity Clissold made the second run for the LV by also hitting an error to second baseman, then scoring home from an error, after Charlie Carew single hit.

Game 5 - it was not looking good for LV at this point, but the kids kept together as team and cheered each other on with support. Ringwood were currently sitting near top spot at the time, and they were Latrobe Valleys final game, before finals were to be played. Sarah Toms started the batting off for Latrobe Valley, hitting a ground ball to short but Sarah got run out on first. Bayley Weller was the only run scored for Latrobe Valley which came from a safe hit to left field from Anthony Smith. Yet again Felicity managed to get on base on another error in the last innings, but it was too late. Felicity Clissold was the starter pitcher for Latrobe Valley in there final game for the weekend, with Obssa Nicholas coming in as reliever at the bottom of the third innings, whom also finishes out the game. Ringwood were too strong on the day with scoring 5 runs in each innings, due to 5 run rule.
